WordPress SEO in Indore for Sites That Should Be Ranking Already
Installing Yoast or Rank Math isn't SEO. We audit your plugins, theme, archives and speed, fix what's quietly holding the site back, and write the pages that bring in enquiries.
Free, written, and yours to keep. We'll review your plugins, theme, archives and key pages, whether or not we end up working together.
Plugin conflicts fixed on 3 page templates.

What does a WordPress SEO company in Indore actually do?
WordPress SEO is SEO shaped around how WordPress works. We set up your SEO plugin properly, control the archive pages WordPress creates automatically, remove plugin and theme conflicts, speed up the site, and improve the pages and content that bring in enquiries. Then we monitor, because a plugin or theme update can undo good work.
Key takeaways
- An SEO plugin is a toolbox, not a strategy. Its defaults rarely suit your site.
- WordPress creates tag, category, author and date archives automatically. Thin ones usually need noindex or a cleanup.
- Use one sitemap and one source of schema. A theme, a review plugin and an SEO plugin can all add them, and duplicates cause confusion.
- Google recommends good Core Web Vitals (LCP within 2.5 seconds, INP within 200 milliseconds, CLS within 0.1). They help users, but one signal doesn't guarantee rankings.
Four problems we find on most WordPress sites
Plugin installed, nothing changed
The SEO plugin has a green light, but titles, indexing rules and schema were never set up for your site.
A slow, heavy site
A page builder, a bulky theme and a dozen plugins add up. Visitors leave before the page finishes loading.
Hundreds of thin pages
Tag, author and date archives pile up and compete with the pages you actually want to rank.
Traffic that stalled or dropped
After a redesign, a plugin switch or an update, rankings slipped and no one knows why.
Most of this can be fixed without rebuilding your website.
Three layers decide how your site performs in search
Most WordPress problems sit in one of three places: how the site is set up, how its pages are structured, and how fast and stable it runs. We check all three.
Illustration. WordPress issues summarised from industry guides (RankAI, Rocket.net) and Google's Core Web Vitals guidance on web.dev.
Setup
The foundations. If these are wrong, everything built on top suffers.
- One SEO plugin, configured for your site
- Search visibility setting checked
- Clear permalinks and one sitemap
- One owner for titles, canonicals and schema
Structure
WordPress builds archive pages for you. Whether they help or hurt is a decision.
- Category pages with real intro copy
- Thin tag, author and date archives controlled
- Descriptive internal links
- Redirects when URLs change
Speed and stability
Hosting, builder, caching and images decide how fast pages load, and updates can break things.
- Hosting response time checked first
- Builder, plugin and image weight reduced
- Caching set up properly
- Updates monitored for regressions
How we track it
- Clicks, impressions and position per page in Search Console
- Calls, WhatsApp clicks and form fills tracked per page
- Core Web Vitals from real-user data, not just lab scores
What we won't promise
A perfect PageSpeed score, a guaranteed ranking or a green light in a plugin. Lab scores and plugin scores are tools, not results. Real-user Core Web Vitals data in Search Console takes weeks to update. Better setup and faster pages improve your chances. They don't guarantee a position.
Six parts of a WordPress SEO plan
Every site needs a different mix. After the audit we tell you what comes first and what can wait.
WordPress audit and keyword map
We review plugins, theme, archives, speed and key pages, then map what your customers search to the right page.
- Plugin and theme review
- Keyword and search-intent map
- Prioritised fix list
SEO plugin setup
Yoast, Rank Math or All in One SEO, set up for your site, with defaults replaced and overlaps removed.
- Titles, robots rules and canonicals
- One sitemap, no duplicates
- Settings documented for your team
Archives, categories and URLs
We decide which archive pages deserve to rank and which should be noindexed or merged, and tidy permalinks and redirects.
- Tag, author and date archive control
- Category pages with real copy
- Redirects for changed URLs
Speed and Core Web Vitals
We find what's slowing the site, hosting, builder, plugins or images, and fix it in order of impact.
- Caching and image optimisation
- Plugin and builder clean-up
- LCP, INP and CLS review
Schema and content
Schema from one source, and pages written to answer what customers ask, with internal links that tie them together.
- Article, FAQ, breadcrumb and organisation schema
- New and refreshed pages
- Internal linking plan
Monitoring and maintenance
Updates can break SEO settings. We watch for regressions, broken links and security problems.
- Post-update checks
- Broken links and 404s
- Backups and security basics
Off-page SEO for WordPress sites
Fixing the site is the first half. Pages that are fast and well set up still need relevant, trustworthy sites linking to them. We offer this as an add-on, so you only pay for it when you need it.
Relevant link building
Links from sites in your industry or city, pointed at the pages and posts that need them, not at the home page by default.
- Digital PR, guest articles and resource links
- Prospects checked for real traffic and relevance
- Monthly list of links built
Citations and brand mentions
Consistent business listings and brand profiles, so search engines and AI tools find the same details everywhere.
- Name, address and phone consistency
- Industry and local directories that matter
- Unlinked mention follow-up
Backlink audit and clean-up
We review who already links to you, find spammy or hacked-site links, and flag what needs action.
- Link profile review with a written summary
- Broken backlinks redirected to live pages
- Disavow only when it's genuinely needed
Link building isn't part of the WordPress plans below. Our off-page plans start at ₹24,999/month + GST (Link Growth, 4 relevant links a month), and a one-time link audit is ₹14,999 + GST. Details on the off-page SEO page. We never buy links to manipulate rankings, and any paid placement is qualified as Google's spam policy requires. We don't promise rankings.
Common WordPress SEO problems we fix
Most sites we review have at least five of these.
- Search visibility setting left on after launch
- Two plugins, or a plugin and theme, adding the same titles or schema
- Two sitemaps running at once
- Thin tag, author and date archives indexed
- Heavy page-builder pages and unoptimised images
- No caching, or hosting that's slow to respond
- Dated or ID-based permalinks that were changed without redirects
- Broken links, missing images and 404 errors
- Outdated plugins and themes that risk the site
- Old posts left to go stale

From audit to a faster, clearer site
No mystery. Here's what happens, and when.
Listen and audit
A short call about your business and goals. We review plugins, theme, archives, speed, Search Console and analytics, and take a backup.
Keyword map and plan
A plain-language map of which page targets which search, and a priority list of fixes by likely impact.
Setup and structure
Plugin set up, archives controlled, sitemap and schema cleaned up. Changes are tested on a staging copy where possible.
Speed and pages
Caching, images and plugin weight fixed, then titles, headings and copy on your most valuable pages.
Content and first review
New and refreshed content goes live. We look at what moved in clicks and enquiries, and what didn't.
Report and plan
Page-by-page results, speed trends, what we did, and what's next.
Small gains can show in 4 to 8 weeks. Bigger ranking changes usually take 3 to 6 months. Core Web Vitals data in Search Console reflects real visitors over time, so speed fixes can take a few weeks to show there.
Eight WordPress details that affect SEO
Small things that add up. Here's what we check on every site.
Permalinks
Short, readable and stable URLs. If one must change, a redirect protects what it has earned.
Categories and tags
Categories for broad groups, tags only where they help. Thin archives get noindexed or merged.
SEO plugin
One plugin, set up on purpose. We remove overlap with the theme and other plugins.
Page builders
Elementor, Divi and others add code. We trim what's not needed and keep pages readable.
Hosting
Slow server response can't be fixed by front-end tweaks. We check it first.
Caching and images
Proper caching and compressed images are often the quickest speed wins.
Updates and security
Out-of-date plugins are a risk. We check updates, backups and SSL, and watch for regressions.
Multilingual and multisite
Extra languages or sites need careful setup. We scope these separately after the audit.

- FAQ sections that match the visible page
- A monthly check of what AI tools say about your business

WordPress SEO questions we hear most
Can't find yours? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll answer it.
Ask on WhatsAppWhat is WordPress SEO, and why do I need it?
It's SEO work shaped around how WordPress behaves: its plugins, themes, archive pages, permalinks and speed. A WordPress site can rank well, but its defaults and add-ons often create problems that need fixing.
Is installing Yoast or Rank Math enough?
They're a good foundation, but only if configured for your site. They don't fix speed, thin archives, duplicate schema, internal linking or content on their own.
How much does WordPress SEO cost in Indore?
An audit and roadmap is ₹14,999 one-time. A full setup and fix for up to about 100 pages is ₹34,999 one-time, and ongoing work is ₹19,999 a month, all plus GST. Large sites, multisite and multilingual setups start from ₹39,999 a month.
How long does it take to see results?
Small gains can show in 4 to 8 weeks. Bigger ranking changes usually take 3 to 6 months. Speed fixes can improve the experience quickly, but Core Web Vitals data in Search Console reflects real visitors over time.
Will SEO change my website's design?
Usually not. Most fixes happen behind the scenes. Occasionally a speed fix, such as removing a heavy slider or font, changes a small visual element, and we'll check with you first.
Do too many plugins hurt SEO?
They can. Each plugin may add scripts, styles and database work that slow pages, and two plugins can create duplicate titles or schema. We keep what earns its place and replace the rest.
Should I noindex my tag and category pages?
It depends. Thin tag archives usually should be noindexed or removed. Category pages with real intro copy and clear purpose can be worth keeping. We review them page by page.
Are Core Web Vitals a ranking factor?
Google recommends good Core Web Vitals, and they matter for visitors. They're one signal among many, and good scores alone won't guarantee rankings. We focus on real-user speed, not just lab scores.
Do you need my WordPress password?
No. We use a separate admin user that you create, so you can remove our access any time. We take a backup before making changes.
Will you change my theme or page builder?
Only if it's the real cause of a problem, and only with your approval. In most cases we work within your current theme and builder.
Do you build backlinks for WordPress sites?
Yes, as an add-on to any WordPress plan. Our off-page plans start at ₹24,999/month + GST for 4 relevant links a month, plus a one-time link audit at ₹14,999 + GST. Any paid or sponsored placement is qualified as Google's spam policy requires.
Do you work on WooCommerce and multilingual sites?
Yes, scoped after the audit. WooCommerce stores have extra needs, such as filters and product data, covered in our WooCommerce SEO service. Extra languages and multisite setups are quoted separately.
